Athletics
The UDLA is one of Mexico´s leading sporting universities. Its teams, called the Aztecs,
represent the university in various sports, such as: American football, soccer, indoor soccer,
tennis, basketball, baseball, swimming, volleyball, soft-ball, athletics, flag football and tae kwon do.
More than 60% of the university community members participate in one of our sports programs: team sports, recreational sports, intramural tournaments, sports clinics, etc.
Being part of an UDLA team helps our students to achieve excellent academic results, as students learn civil values, based on social and intellectual pluralism, freedom of thought,
democracy, solidarity, respect, honesty and modesty as well as competitive performance and results.
